In the framework of “Seville, Capital of the Community of Ariane Cities 2019”, Airbus, in collaboration with Extenda, presents its initiatives to democratize access to space: Kiwi (www.kiwi-microgravity.com) and Bartolomeo (www.airbus.com/space/space-infrastructures/bartolomeo.html). Both programs have allowed Researching Centres, Universities and SMEs around the world to use microgravity laboratories such as the International Space Station (ISS) to improve products or advance their research.

Kiwi offers an End to End service for integration in platform and in the launcher (soon with Dragon and Falcon 9 of Space X 19), launching, operation and delivery of results for experiments embedded in different types of encapsulations, and in several microgravity platforms as the interior of the ISS, parabolic flights or towers of free fall. Bartolomeo is an external platform to the Columbus laboratory (also built by Airbus DS) of the ISS. Its  different modules can be shared and rented for different periods of time, renewing the experiments with the robotic arm of the station, which lowers its commissioning and allows a greater alternation.
