What are meteorites? Where do they come from? How do they look like? If you want to know more about the search for space rocks you can not miss this activity. We will have a lot of real meteorites of different types, so that you will be able to learn how to identify and value them, you will also have the opportunity to touch those rocks that came from space.

We will talk about what they are and where they come from, how we look for them and where. Why we look for them, their scientific value and some of the things that meteorites tell us about our environment in space, and their importance in the origin of life and extinctions. We will have the opportunity for an expert meteor hunter to tell us about recent falls and some of the latest meteorites that have fallen in Spain. And it will teach us how to identify false meteorites and tectites.

 

DURATION: Every day, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

REGISTRATION: The entrance to the workshop is free and free, but it will be staggered in 30-minute visits, without prior reservation. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
